This presentation will explore kinase biology and how molecular dynamics simulations, computer-based tools that model atomic interactions, are being used to design next-generation kinase inhibitors. Dr. Mingione will discuss how this approach reveals hidden regulatory sites on kinases, aids in drug specificity, and accelerates the development of novel therapies targeting diseases such as cancer.
Victoria Mingione is a molecular biologist with expertise in kinase signaling and drug discovery. With a Ph.D. from Stony Brook University, her work spans computational biology, structural biology, biochemistry, and translational research.
