Amateur Radio Club

The Rockville Science Center hosts an Amateur Radio Club for adults interested in learning more about this exciting hobby. Whether you are fully licensed or just getting started, you are welcome to be part of the group. You can RSVP for upcoming event here.

 

Amateur Radio Hangout: Join us on the last Thursday of the month (7:00 - 9:00 PM) to learn about amateur radio-related topics and socialize with other members of the club. We often gather at a local restaurant for a bite prior to the gathering so be sure to check the event posting and make plans to join us.

Coffee & POTA: Parks on the Air (POTA) is a monthly event (usually on the last Saturday) where our group heads to a local park to set up portable stations to make contact with other operators all over the world.

Our program is open to all aspiring and licensed Amateur Radio Operators.
