Summer STEM Camps

Summer is a great time to learn something new and have fun, too!
Rockville Science Center offers full-day STEM camps (9:00 am - 4:00 pm)
throughout the summer for children ages 7-12.
Registration for our 2026 summer camps is OPEN at a new location!
While the space may be new to us, the wonderful instructors, STEM projects, and hands-on learning will be exactly the same!

The Rockville Science Center offers need-based scholarships (50% off registration) as well as a 10% discount when you register siblings or for more than one session of camp. See below for more details.
Discounts & Financial Aid
DISCOUNTS: A 10% discount is available for siblings, multiple class registrations, and to those who hold a membership. You can claim the discount online at the time of registration (click on "view more price options" when you select the quantity under "tickets."
FINANCIAL AID: Scholarships are available to those who qualify for benefits such as FARMS, SNAP, and Medicaid or who can otherwise show need (documentation must be provided). If you qualify, register at the scholarship rate for your desired camp/class and email documentation within 7 days to achacon@rockvillesciencecenter.org. All information will remain confidential.

Camp Policies
Photo Release
By registering for a class or other event, I consent to Rockville Science Center's use of myself and/or my child’s image and likeness as shown in any photographs, videotapes, motion picture film, or electronic images and any audio recordings made of the participant’s voice in whatever way Rockville Science Center desires, including television, print, website, and social media platforms. Furthermore, I consent that such photographs, films, recordings, electronic images shall be the sole property of Rockville Science Center.
RSC's Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a registration, please email us at info@rockvillesciencecenter.org as soon as possible. Please note that a $15 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds with the exception of refunds initiated by RSC due to low enrollment.
Cancellations received:
- At least 10 days prior to the first day of camp: 100% of the ticket price (minus fees) will be refunded.
- 3-9 days prior to the first day of camp: 50% of the ticket price (minus fees) will be refunded.
- Less than 3 days prior to the first day of camp: No refund
Low Enrollment: In the event that the Rockville Science Center cancels a camp due to low enrollment, 100% of the ticket price including fees will be promptly refunded.
