Rockville Science Center

The Rockville Science Center is a place for ALL AGES to come and experience hands-on learning and connect with the scientific community. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and are sustained by grants from the City of Rockville and other local entities, sponsorships from area scientific organizations and donations from our visitors.

Some of the programs we offer include:

• Classes (afterschool, homeschool, and weekends)

• Summer Camps

• Birthday Parties

• High School Engineering Teams (Explorer Post 1010)

• Girls in STEM

• Online Lectures

• Explorations! Field Trips

• Chess Club

• Math Club

• Amateur Radio Hangouts

We also run a number of special events throughout the year:

• Rockville Science Day (usually in April)

• Community STEM Days

• Watch Parties

• Social Events

 

Our programs operate out of two spaces. Most of our Science Center programs are temporarily running out of 130 Rollins Ave, Suite H-1, Rockville, MD. We also have a makerspace at 33F Maryland Ave, in Rockville Town Square. We are currently working to find a new, more permanent home for the Rockville Science Center.
