About the event
Get started with the beautiful hand sewing technique of reverse appliqué, seen on handwork from around the world including the famous Tivaevae of the Cook Islands. No sewing experience necessary! All materials provided from Samantha’s vast scrap collection, or bring your own quilting cotton (1/2 yard each of two contrasting solid colors would be perfect). Samantha is also available at this time if you just want to talk about your own sewing project and get some tips. $5 for non-members, free for members.
