About the event
Join us for our monthly program where you can meet with other Amateur Radio Operators to learn, exchange ideas, and socialize. Bring a friend! The program meets on the 4th Thursday of the month. Open to aspiring, new, and advanced radio operators. You do not need to be licensed or affiliated with any amateur radio club to attend the Hangout.
This month's opening discussion will be about Transmitter Hunting, also called Fox Hunting. This is an activity where participants use radio direction finding techniques to locate one or more radio transmitters hidden within a designated search area. This activity is most popular among amateur radio enthusiasts, and one organized sport variation is known as amateur radio direction finding.
Our breakup sessions will include Technician Licence Training. Bring your license book.
