Engineering Projects
Catapults: Catapults use stored energy to hurl a projectile. You will build your catapult using one of these 3 energy storage mechanisms: Tension – Torsion – Gravity. Then have fun hurling different balls into different buckets.
Robotics: Build, program and operate a LEGO Mindstorms robot with different sensors. You will works through a series of exercises to experience solving elemental robotics tasks. This is ideal for hands-on students who love building while learning mechanical and programming concepts.
Motors: Build electromagnetic motors and make solenoid art shapes that spin non-stop in a magnetic field.
