Science Explorers & Marvelous Makers

Join us for a week of science at the Rockville Science Center.

June 17 - 21

Time:  9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Age: 7 - 12

Our morning program is Science Explorers and in the afternoon we will get creative with Marvelous Makers. 

Campers enjoy lunch and free-time together from noon - 1:00 pm (bring a bagged lunch and drink). 

Our Science Explorers program includes the following topics:

 - Brain development (neurons, mindset, responses to fear & stress) 

- Nutrition (extracting and measuring iron in breakfast cereals) 

- DNA extraction & hereditary diseases 

Our Marvelous Makers program includes: 

- 3D design 

- 3D print Lithophane 

- Laser cutting/ engraving 

- Painting with milk & learning about surface tension

 - Paper Marbling

 - Making Bath Bombs.
