Raspberry STEM: Python Programming (6-week afterschool program)

Age: 9-14

6 classes: January 16, 23, 30, February 6, 13, 20 (5:00 - 6:30 pm)

Join us for this series of six classes using a hands-on platform to learn the principles of Python programming & electronics. No experience is necessary with programming or electronics.

You will learn how to use a Raspberry Pi, Breadboard, Python Programming Platform, and Electronic Circuits.

Build multiple electronic circuits including switches, then write a program to replace the physical switches with digital ones.

Build a SIMON game; program random LEDs lighting

Build and program a piano

Program space ships on a 64 LED Matrix display.

Install and program an accelerometer.

Register for more than 1 class and/or a sibling and receive 10 % discount

Financial assistance is available if the student receives a free meal at school. Apply for RSC scholarship to get 50% discount on classes’ fees.
