Basic Electronic Soldering Workshop

Get experience using a soldering iron to build and modify electronics! In this two-hour workshop, we will start with stripping, splicing, and soldering copper wires, then practice through-hole soldering with printed circuit boards, and end by desoldering components from circuit boards. Ages 16+

About the event

Get experience using a soldering iron to build and modify electronics! In this two-hour workshop, we will start with stripping, splicing, and soldering copper wires, then practice through-hole soldering with printed circuit boards, and end by desoldering components from circuit boards.   No prior experience is required.  Tools and materials provided. By the end students should be comfortable assembling simple electronics projects.  Ages 16 and up.
