About the event
Have you wanted to get started with making quilts? Session 1: Inspiration and Skill Building
We’ll give you tons of tips and resources on selecting a pattern and choosing fabric. We’ll cover the basic steps of quilting: planning, cutting, piecing, quilting, finishing so you can envision your project. PRACTICE the necessary machine piecing skills using Makerspace machines, or bring your own machine. We’ll get to a point so that between the two sessions, you may purchase materials for a quilt and get started!
Session 2: Bring your own materials to work on the quilt of your dreams. We’ll provide guidance and help you troubleshoot, and help you along the way to your first quilt. Enjoy quilting in a fun and supportive environment. Use the Makerspace machines, or bring your own.
Ticket price includes both sessions. For adults and 10+ with adult (parent and child must both sign up). Cost for…
