Age: 7 - 13 Lear how the human brain works and all about DNA and the role that iron plays in keeping us healthy. Then you will make: 3D designs and 3D print - Gifts with a Laser cutter/ engraver - Painting with Milk and paper marbling - Bath Bombs.

About the event

Join us for a week of hands-on science projects at the Rockville Science Center.

Date: June 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23

Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Our morning program is Science Explorers and in the afternoon we will get creative with Marvelous Makers.

Campers enjoy lunch and free-time together from noon - 1:00 pm (bring a bagged lunch and drink).

Our Science Explorers program includes the following topics: - Brain development (neurons, mindset, responses to fear & stress) - Nutrition (extracting and measuring iron in breakfast cereals) - DNA extraction & hereditary diseases
