About the event
Age: 14+ High Schoolers (5 sessions: July 31, August 4, 11, 18, and 25)
Do you have experience coding that you'd like to take to the next level by working to find solutions to real life needs of local nonprofit organizations? Please join us for this exciting initiative to learn and apply valuable computer science and communication skills while making a difference in our community. In this class you will design and create software products used to assist non-profit organizations in their everyday functions based on client and organizational needs. Get a chance to develop marketable computer science skills, including frontend and backend experience.
Join this hybrid program with weekly sessions at the new Rockville Science Center Makerspace located at 33F Maryland Ave, Rockville, MD 20850.
