About the event

The Fibonacci sequence is a sequence in which each element is the sum of the two elements that precede it. Fibonacci numbers were first described in Indian mathematics as early as 200 BC. Join us as we learn about the search sequence, the golden ratio and more. Suitable for middle school to adult.

The Rockville Numberphiles is a math club for math enthusiasts from middle school to adult. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Our interactive discussions and presentations help mathematicians explore the broad range of mathematics, its history, and problem solving.
