Marvelous Makers (HomeSchoolers), Age: 7 - 14

Marvelous Makers (Homeschoolers) Age: 8 - 14 January 23 - February 27, 10:30 - 12 pm. Join us for this six-week program on Mondays, beginning January 23. Each week, students will have the opportunity to explore different ways of making their own creative designs through hands-on learning and some science mixed in, too! You'll learn how to use tools such as a 3D printer and a laser cutter/engraver, and also create projects using everyday materials you probably already have at home. Come be a maker at the Rockville Science Center! All materials and supplies are provided by RSC. For the laser engraving project, students are invited to bring in a wood cutting board or other special piece (maximum size: 8" x 11.8"). They can also choose to engrave their design on leather, wood or plexiglass we have available at the center.
