About the event
A five-week homeschool program on Mondays, 10:00 am - noon
Dates: September 8, 15, 22, 29, October 6
Ages: 8-12
Students will be working with the microcontroller Arduino to learn electronic circuits & build an autonomous car.
Students will learn C++ language to program an Arduino to control LEDs, ultrasound sensor, servo motors, DC motors and an H-bridge. They will also learn about electrical circuits and how to use a soldering iron. Then, they will put all that knowledge together and build an “Autonomous Car” that can avoid obstacles and drive through a maze. At the end of the course, students will be able to bring the car home to continue developing their programming skills.
Price includes the cost of additional materials for the Arduino project.
