Join us for this five-week homeschool program on Tuesdays, 10:00 am - noon

Dates: January 14, 21, 28, February 4

Ages: 7-12


Join us as we dive into some exciting topics in the field of biology. Through hands-on learning, we'll explore how the human brain works and learn all about DNA and the role that iron plays in keeping us healthy. This Biology Science Explorer program has three modules:


1) How Does the Human Brain Work? Students will make clay brains of Insects, fish, reptiles, birds, cats/dogs, and humans and then color 5 major brain structures to visualize how the brain evolved from reptiles to humans. We'll make a giant neuron that fires up chemicals and learn the role of the main chemicals used by neurons to communicate with each other.
