About the event
Join other Rockville Science Supporters on a behind the scenes tour of the Montgomery County Airpark. The Airpark (KGAI) is a General Aviation airport located in Gaithersburg, MD. The Airpark is home to flying clubs, flight schools and serves as a gateway to Washington DC for Corporate Aviation. Trip is limited to 20 participants and registration is required.
About the trip:
Learn about the history and operation, tour the site, visit a maintenance shed. We might be able to visit the flight school.
Dress for the weather.
Expect some walking. Closed toe shoes, no high heels.
