About the event
Ages: 12 - Adults
Join us to learn how our physical and social environment may contribute to certain mental health outcomes such as ADHD and anxiety, as well as the dangers to negative stigma surrounding the topic of mental health. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with peers and create interventions to help lessen the stigma and create ways to improve mental health in your group and the community.Â
Instructors:
Stevi Gligorovic: B.S. Psychology from Regis University in Denver Colorado. Currently, Post-bac fellow at the National Institutes of Health doing research on contextual risk and protective factors for youth with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Maya Saulsbury: B.S. Psychology - Mental health. Post-bac research fellow at the National Institute of Health contributing to research on adolescents with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
