Afterschool Tech Wizards (Ages 8-14)

Six weeks: March 20, March 27, April 3, 10, 17 & 24

Wednesdays, 5:00 - 6:30 pm

Join us for this six-week afterschool program on Wednesdays beginning March 20. Throughout this series, students will be working with an Arduino to learn electronic circuits & build an autonomous car.

Students will learn C++ language to program an Arduino to control LEDs, ultrasound sensor, servo motors, DC motors and an H-bridge.

We'll tackle hands-on skills like using a soldering iron and learn about electrical circuits. Then, we will put all that knowledge together and build an “Autonomous Car” that can avoid obstacles and drive through a maze. At the end of the program, students will bring the car home to continue learning programming skills.
