3D design & 3D print - Lithophane!
Learn how to 3D-design basic shapes/objects and how to convert any picture into lithophane and 3D print it.
A lithophane is an artwork or a picture 3D printed with thin plastic that can be seen clearly only when backlit with a light source.
You can 3D print your design or lithophane at the Rockville Science Center.
Materials and supplies:
Computer to create TinkerCad account and learn how to 3D design, and convert a picture into lithophane (you can bring your own computer with Cura Ultimaker installed)).
3D printer and the PLA filament for Lithophane
