Everything You Always Wanted to Know About AI*
(*But were afraid to ask!)
Dr. Tafreshi and Dr. Szabo’s presentation offers an ideal rundown of Artificial Intelligence (AI). They will discuss the basics necessary for understanding AI, including a few major approaches towards AI, such as logic, rules-based, and machine learning. They will help us understand what artificial intelligence is, and how it differs from Machine Learning (ML). They will also provide us with a brief history of AI, then discuss recent advances in the field, including various areas where AI is currently being applied. The two major practical methods of AI, machine learning and deep learning, will be also touched upon.
